In June of 2021, First Choice Ohio opened its doors to serve.
Our leadership team is comprised of dedicated, compassionate professionals with over 20 years of experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health challenges. First Choice Ohio's team has a myriad of skill sets and disciplines that have been strategically brought together to positively impact the individuals, families, and communities whom we come into contact. Helen Keller said it best: "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
First Choice Ohio embraces the belief that "to care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors." (T. Walker) We serve older adults in the comfort of their residence, and in their community, as desired. No assignment is to big or small. Services and schedules are customizable to fit the needs of the clients. Our team consists of an array of professionals--personal care assistants (PCAs), home health aides, drivers, social workers, and registered nurses (RNs). We offer no judgment to family members who need us to come alongside them to provide short- or long-term care for their loved ones.
